This project explores the design of a book cover for After Dark by Haruki Murakami.

The goal was to translate the themes of the book into a strong visual system that communicates tone, genre, and mood at a glance.

I began with exploratory sketches focused on composition and hierarchy, then refined the strongest direction through iteration.

The final design balances typography and imagery to create a cohesive and intentional cover that reflects the narrative.
